PRESENTA EL CULTO EL HERMANO: JUAN CARLOS ROMERO .

PREDICACION: "PIEDAD Y CONTENTAMIENTO"

1 TIMOTEO:6:6,10.

6- Pero gran ganancia es la piedad acompañada de contentamiento,

7- porque nada hemos traído a este mundo y, sin duda, nada podremos sacar.

8- Así que, teniendo sustento y abrigo, estemos ya satisfechos;
9 - but that will be rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction,
10 - because the root of all evils is the love of money , which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and were tormented with many sorrows.
But great gain in godliness with contentment
A. Here are the riches and treasures of the gospel. "Contentment never comes from the possession of external objects. Comes from an internal attitude toward life "How can we be happy? Why increase or decrease holdings desires? Which of the two is cheaper?
6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and certainly nothing can remove. - Job 1:21, Psalm 39:6, Eccles. 5:13-15. All material possessions in this life only. If we could carry, then again have the problem of not being happy because we are tempted to hold them always wanting more and more, but fortunately the possessions of this life do not belong to the soul and, therefore, are left here.
So what brings man to God? Only carries himself, a being, a character, a soul redeemed by the blood of Christ and ready to be with God eternally. What
happens to their possessions? The other leaves. Eccles. 2:18, 21.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content:
"food and clothing, food, clothing, shelter, necessary, and employment to provide it.
Those who have more of this is rich. There is a difference between what is necessary and desirable. Say "need" when in fact we should say "we."
If one could know the problems and concerns of those who have money, they never would have envied.
6:9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap (like the animal in the loop, 2 Tim. 2:26), and into many foolish and harmful.
You may have plenty of possessions without greed, and the same may be guilty of greed if we have very few possessions.
What are some of the evidence of the problem? Anything that is made for more or better than require the sacrifice of any principle of Scripture presents evidence of the greed in us. Greed takes many forms, for example
1. Work the days you have to congregarte to church instead of attending services, Mat. 6:33, 34.
2. Working at night in a second job, to have "more and better", instead of being with family, attend midweek services, visiting, studying, etc.
3. Go to another country to work illegally, hiding, lying, falsifying papers, working with social security card provided, saying "I can not survive in my country", but in his own country had "food and clothing" and few people see or know today who lose the most precious thing to share with you is your family, year after year quedarce money, and when some decide to get those who have children, they are now more and sometimes with family, relatives and even killed some.
4. Leave the family to work in another country, holding himself and his wife to the temptation of fornication. Speaking of the relationship close of the spouses, Paul says, "Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent some time to devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again in one, that Satan tempt you not because of your control. " It says, "but for some time" to work in another country to have more possessions or better posesesiones.
5. Women leave their children with babysitters to work outside the home, to have another check, to get a better house, better furniture, another car, vacation, and to consent to the children by buying more toys, expensive clothes, etc.
6-many of our jobs and commitments to society, we abandoned our loved ones, but older people in nursing homes and leaving them with foreign workers. All for the vanity.
important thing is not to encourage but to eliminate the desires that are not suitable. Gal . 5: 16 ;
I say then: Walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Col. 3:5, 5-
therefore put to death all that is characteristic of the earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Rom. 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, proveáis not for the lust of the flesh, sink (such as drowning, or as someone who can not swim, or you run out of strength) to men in destruction and perdition. 1.First
"want" (greedy). (Joshua 7:21, 2 Sam. 11:1-3; Sant. 1:13, 14; 1 Jn. 2:16).
1-John 2:16 For everything in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, not of the Father, but is of the world.
2. Then "fall into temptation and a trap."
3. And finally, they sink into destruction and perdition.
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities (or delusion) all is vanity. What does man gain from all his labor which he taketh under the sun? "" I hate, therefore life because the work being done under the sun was grievous to me, for all is vanity and vexation of Spi-ritu.
But both wrong to do the right thing for money as we do not do for money shows our problem about money: the Bible calls "The Love of Money."
Watch verse 10 (NIV) "For the love of money is the root of all evil." The Bible shows us that love money brings a multitude of problems to our lives. Problems in marriage relations in the workplace, at church, in society ... but mostly problems with God. Note that is not saying that money brings problems, but the LOVE of money. We are not saying that having money or want to prosper in itself is the problem. But say this is the case when get rich, make money, save money becomes your craving, your motivation (what makes you get out of bed every day), your treasure (which assayed more than anyone), thinking constant (your criteria decision or action), your passion, what you love most in this world.
illustrates: Money is like electricity. Many electricity brings good things: we can amplify the sound, we can avoid the heat, we can light our homes and cities. Brings many conveniences and benefits. Ah ... but do not touch bare wires or a wire targets at the touch of light ... electricity can be a source of many evils. So the money while you use properly according to God's plan, everything is fine, but just starting to love ... the problems begin.
The Bible clearly warns us of this, but also gives us the antidote to the love of money. It is precisely contentment. The Content PROTECT YOUR HEART THE LOVE OF MONEY.
Verse 6 says, "great gain in godliness with contentment."
CONTENTMENT.
is, as long as you can see all that God has given you with gratitude. Be able to see the economic progress that has recently had a blessing from God to honor Him in your life. That does not happen but that salary increase you expected, you can say, Lord I trust you and thank you because you know perfectly well what is best for me. Learn to enjoy what we have instead of complaining and whining so you do not have. In short, you want a relationship with God because you love him and not because you love the gifts I give.
illustrates: Do you remember some of your birthday as a kid? What did you most excited? Do the people you convivirías? Or gifts that would bring for you? The truth, if you were like me, excited me most were the gifts, not so much people. When you do not have contentment is the same. In your relationship with God do you most passionate about is not God himself, but gifts or benefits that have to be with him. But when you have contentment, the smallest blessing is received with gratitude, because even if you have things you might want, you have to Him Who is thy treasure and that is enough to be satisfied.

also want to share with you the song that the Sunday school children sang for the Padres in his day.

also want to thank the youth of our Church, for all the help and collaboration that always exist in all work activities and ask for prayer for each of them, that God always keep you apart and guide.
